What skills we need in our team:
7+ years of experience in digital product design, with a strong focus on UX design. Your portfolio demonstrates impactful end-to-end design work, strategic thinking, and measurable improvements in user experience and business goals. You show ownership of complex projects and leadership in design processes.
Deep expertise in user-centric design principles, with extensive experience applying research insights to strategic product decisions. You are comfortable defining research approaches, leading discovery phases, and advocating for user needs at a strategic level.
Proven ability to lead the design of complex digital products, including web and mobile applications, creating seamless user experiences aligned with business strategy.
You excel at working autonomously, driving strategic design initiatives, prioritising effectively, and making informed decisions that balance user needs, technical constraints, and business objectives. You are confident mentoring others and guiding design direction within a team.
You’re experienced working in agile teams, contributing to sprints, sprint reviews, and collaborating closely with developers and product teams by leading design discussions in sprint planning and backlog refinement.
Expert proficiency in Figma, including design system architecture, maintenance, and scalability. You have experience establishing design systems and workflows to drive consistency across products.
Familiarity with other design tools (Adobe, Framer, Webflow, etc.) and a solid understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
Proficiency in German and English.
You actively advocate for inclusive design (WCAG 2.2 Level AA) and integrate accessibility standards throughout the design process, including testing and handoff.
We offer a hybrid work environment: Our team has the option to work remotely, and is also able to come into the office when required. You must be based in Berlin.
A little bit about us and how we work
Work-life balance shouldn’t be a perk, but a given. We strongly believe in flexibility, knowing that creativity doesn’t always happen between 9 and 5. Our team takes ownership of their time and working hours. We work a 38 hour week (if you work full-time), don’t do overtime, and take 30 days of holiday a year (with an extra day off on your birthday).
Prefer working from home? No worries. We’re a flexible office. Some of the team split their time between the office and home, and we try to get together once a month. Everybody can decide what works best for them. If you’re keen to take a workation, just ensure the time zone is compatible with CET/Berlin.
Learning and experimenting is part of our culture. We’ll support your personal and professional growth with a development budget and bi-weekly one on one check-ins. There’s also plenty of room to shape how we work, our company culture – have a great idea in mind, we’re all ears.
We believe that bringing together diverse perspectives, expertise and ideas allows us to create more unique, imaginative and inspiring work. We’re committed to cultivating a workplace where everyone feels comfortable to be themselves and to try out new things with the risk of failing.
We started in 2015 as an experiment to run a progressive, independent agency shaped around our team. Today we’re a diverse, characterful bunch working from Kreuzberg, Berlin.
