Mid Level Technical Project Manager
This is a one-year, temporary position to cover parental leave.
As a Mid-Level Technical Project Manager at Diesdas Digital, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our projects and relationships with clients and stakeholders.

You create the space for them to develop digital products by setting and helping to achieve project goals. You’ll collaborate closely with clients, using your expertise and fresh perspectives to formulate and guide the project processes.
Efficient Project Management: You’ll immerse yourself in the world of digital product development, helping to craft user-centric solutions. Your management skills enable an inviting and engaging project environment, supporting the team and the project to strive. You set the guidelines for project delivery in time, budget and scope.
Managing uncertainty: With your experience you anticipate and assess potential project risks, provide support to your team, and communicate clearly to internal and external stakeholders. You can find solutions to mitigate if something is not going according to plan.
Collaboration: Work closely with our diverse team and clients to facilitate brainstorming sessions, backlog groomings, reviews and retrospectives. We value open communication and believe that great ideas can come from anywhere.

4+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on digital products. Experience in an agency environment is beneficial.
A deep understanding of project management methodologies and rituals, both in agile and classic approaches (Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall).
Full end-to-end experience and ownership in all project phases from initiation, to planning, execution, monitoring and controlling to closure.
Proven track record of continuous tracking and controlling during the execution of the project to help your teams and clients to stay aligned with goals, budgets, and timelines, reducing risks of deviation.
Effective communication skills, both in presenting and in collaborating with team members and clients. Transparent and active communication with clients.
Strong skills in enabling your team members and making sure they are offered an enjoyable project environment.
You thrive when working independently, can take ownership of your projects, and are comfortable making decisions while balancing user needs and business goals.
Proficiency with project management related tools (Jira, Confluence, Google Sheets, Docs, Keynote, Asana, Slack etc.).
Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and/or Design tools like Figma are a plus.
Proficiency in English. Knowledge of German is beneficial as we deal with multiple German-speaking clients as well.
We offer a hybrid work environment: Our team has the option to work remotely, and is also able to come into the office when required. You must be based in Berlin.
Work-life balance shouldn’t be a perk, but a given. We strongly believe in flexibility, knowing that creativity doesn’t always happen between 9 and 5. Our team takes ownership of their time and working hours. We work a 38 hour week (if you work full-time), don’t do overtime, and take 30 days of holiday a year (with an extra day off on your birthday).
Prefer working from home? No worries. We’re a flexible office. Some of the team split their time between the office and home, and we try to get together once a month. Everybody can decide what works best for them. If you’re keen to take a workation, just ensure the time zone is compatible with CET/Berlin.
